About the Role...

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead our Sunshine Coast Branch. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence and growing a successful business.

As Branch Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the branch, ensuring operational efficiency, exceptional customer service, strong financial performance, and a safe and engaged workplace. You will play a key role in developing your team while identifying opportunities to grow sales, strengthen customer relationships and improve business performance.

Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Promote the Company’s Core Values & Company Objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing branch team while fostering a positive, safe and accountable workplace culture.
• Drive branch sales growth and profitability by developing and executing strategic business and sales plans.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities within the region.
• Oversee all branch operations, including warehouse, inventory, distribution, customer service and administration, ensuring operational excellence.
• Manage branch financial performance, including budgets, KPIs, expenses and gross margin to achieve business objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement by implementing Lean principles and initiatives that improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, company policies and quality standards, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Represent Alspec within the local business community and industry, enhancing the company's reputation and supporting long-term business growth.

About You...

To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially minded leader who enjoys building successful teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience leading a branch, warehouse, operations or sales team.
• Proven experience managing business performance, budgets and operational outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop people.
•  Demonstrated success in achieving sales growth and improving branch profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing warehouse and distribution operations.
•  A strong customer service focus with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
• Sound commercial acumen and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in the aluminium, building products, manufacturing or construction industry is highly regarded but not essential.
• A commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• High levels of initiative, accountability and professionalism.
