Alspec is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Industrial Products to lead growth across South Australia, based in our Adelaide branch. This is a strategic, customer-facing role suited to a commercially astute professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships and developing new market opportunities within the industrial sector. About the Role,, As the Industrial Product BDM – SA, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of Alspec’s industrial product range across South Australia. Your focus will be on developing relationships with industrial customers, including manufacturers, fabricators, engineers, project stakeholders and key decision-makers. Key responsibilities include: Developing and executing a business development strategy for the SA industrial market Identifying and securing new business opportunities and key accounts Growing revenue and margin across the industrial product portfolio Managing strategic customer relationships and long-term partnerships Providing technical and commercial product solutions Working closely with internal sales, operations and technical teams Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
About You.. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Senior Sales professional in an industrial or technical environment Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, industrial products, building materials, or related engineered solutions Demonstrated success in new business development and key account management High-level commercial acumen and negotiation skills Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage confidently with engineers and technical stakeholders The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a national sales strategy
