About the Role...

 

We are looking for a full time Senior Management Accountant to be based in our Head Office at Eastern Creek.

  

Reporting to the Group Financial Manager, the Senior Management Accountant will

provide financial and management accounting support to the finance team and key stakeholders

 

This is a varied role where (among other things) you will;

    • Lead ERP (D365) process improvements and data integrations, ensuring seamless reporting across multiple business units and effective controls are in place.
    • Deliver accurate monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal postings.
    • Manage accruals, reversals, provisions (e.g., SLOB, payroll, rebates), and ensure integrity of financial statement accounts.
    • Support external audits and tax compliance, delivering regulatory obligations on time and with minimal findings.
    • Produce budget-to-actual analysis with insightful commentary for management and operations teams.
    • Partner with FP&A to provide KPI dashboards and actionable insights that influenced decision-making.
    • Assist in driving national policy and internal control framework development to enhance financial governance.
    • Develop a strong understanding of company business drivers and apply creative, technology-driven solutions to improve performance visibility.

About You...

 

You have great interpersonal skills and have had significant experience in a similar role in the past. 

 

This is a very varied role, which will require you to have the flexibility to multitask and be involved in a number of accounting related activities.

 

Skills / Experience

 

  • Degree qualified - Bachelor of Accounting (or equivalent).
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Management and Senior Accountant across multi-entity organisations, delivering accurate reporting and financial governance.
  • Strong background in industrial distribution and manufacturing, with expertise in cost management, inventory, and operational performance analysis.
  • Proven success in ERP environments and driving process automation/system enhancements with strong proficiency in Microsoft D365 (an added strength).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven experience in financial and management reporting.
  • Automation & AI adoption – creative in applying technology to reduce manual effort, enhance accuracy, and improve insight delivery (an added strength).
  • Analytical, lateral problem-solving and strong business partnering skills.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and proactive with a “can do” mindset.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new processes and systems.
  • High level of integrity, dependability, and results-orientation.
