About the Role...

We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team in influencing LEAN and safe operations at our Eastern Creek site.

Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include.

• Allocate and schedule fleet in accordance with customer requirements
• Engage 3^rd Party providers when required
• Ensure daily checks on vehicles are conducted to monitor the serviceability and equipment functionality 
• Communicate and liaise with drivers, operators, subcontractors and other stakeholders
• Maintain data integrity including KPI entry, allocations and general administration
• Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
• Report any hazard, near miss/hit, injury or incident immediately and assist with any investigation when requested
• Prepare and use reports and other information to support day-to-day decisions
• Monitor adherence to OH&S policies & procedures
• Work to correct Load restraint standards and procedures
• Conduct performance reviews and develop training plans for the driving team

About You...

To be successful you have;

• Relevant experience in allocation roles and knowledge of the transport industry
• Essential computer skills/transport system
• Excellent relationship building skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Enthusiastic, team player and has the “Can Do” attitude
• A strong focus on quality and safe work practices
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility policies and procedures
• Hold an MR/HR licence
