We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team in influencing LEAN and safe operations at our Eastern Creek site. Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include. - Allocate and schedule fleet in accordance with customer requirements
- Engage 3rd Party providers when required
- Ensure daily checks on vehicles are conducted to monitor the serviceability and equipment functionality
- Communicate and liaise with drivers, operators, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Maintain data integrity including KPI entry, allocations and general administration
- Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
- Report any hazard, near miss/hit, injury or incident immediately and assist with any investigation when requested
- Prepare and use reports and other information to support day-to-day decisions
- Monitor adherence to OH&S policies & procedures
- Work to correct Load restraint standards and procedures
- Conduct performance reviews and develop training plans for the driving team
About You... To be successful you have; - Relevant experience in allocation roles and knowledge of the transport industry
- Essential computer skills/transport system
- Excellent relationship building skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Enthusiastic, team player and has the “Can Do” attitude
- A strong focus on quality and safe work practices
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility policies and procedures
- Hold an MR/HR licence
