We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team and play a key role in ensuring our production equipment operates safely and efficiently.

About the Role

Working on a rotating shift and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency. You will work across a variety of industrial machinery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to emergency electrical failures in production equipment.

• Conducting routine tests on electrical systems.

• Replacing worn components before they fail.

• Updating electrical documentation and schematics.

• Coordinating with other maintenance personnel on equipment issues

   

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Electrician.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.

• Advanced knowledge of electrical theory and industrial applications.

• Proficiency with motor controls and variable frequency drives.

• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
