About the Role...

At Alspec, we pride ourselves on efficient, safe, and reliable delivery operations. We are seeking a dedicated Truck Loading Operator/Storeperson to play a key role in preparing our daily deliveries and managing yard operations.

This role is separate from our standard storeperson positions and is ideal for someone who enjoys early starts and taking ownership of yard and freight movements

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload Alspec and third-party delivery vehicles
• Ensure trucks are prepared and ready for daily dispatch
• Assist drivers with pre-operational safety checks
• Operate gantry cranes and associated equipment
• Manage and organise yard activities and freight flow
• Undertake general storeperson duties as required

About You

• Forklift license & experience loading/unloading trucks
• Reliable and punctual with a 6:00 am start
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, physical role
• Previous yard, warehouse, or logistics experience is desirable

Licences & Experience

• Truck licence highly regarded but not essential
• Crane experience is an advantage (training available)
